New Beginnings: A Clean Slate. (Tag: Eclipse + Others).

Cayden had fallen behind along side his sisters, they'd done their best to keep up with their Mother but the long journey had been rough and they'd not been accustomed to wandering so far from their homeland. Eventually Eclipse had picked up the other two but Cayden had stubbornly refused and claimed he'd be able to make it on his own. By the time the Darker looking Male came back, Cayden was struggling, panting profusely and being unable to do much against the willful grasp of WolfMortum's maw coming down against the back of his neck and hoisting the pup up off of the grassy field, with a light yelp but very little struggle, he hung freely beneath the massive jaws of the other.

Cayden still didn't quite understand why they'd had to leave but he'd trusted in his mother as she'd never once faulted in guiding them. To young to know better, he'd asked several times, inquisitive as to be expected though ignored for the majority of the trip and his questions had gone unanswered. Why they were travelling with the Male they'd never met, he didn't know but his mom seemed comfortable enough to trust in Wolf and neither him nor his sisters were of an age to question Eclipse's decision. He assumed all would be explained and everything would go back to normal eventually, but assumptions were all he had and as he rose and fell with every step the Black Wolf took, he wondered why he'd never known WolfMortum before they'd left the Kumari.

Back in Kumari, Mikayla was anxious to play outside again with her brother and sister, to see if they could explore a bit more of the land, even though they where to be watched by a sitter. She didn't understand why, but she was not at an age to understand. Her plans for that day where terrible uprooted;however, as her Mother rounded the three of them up and told them they whe're leaving. The phrase caught her off her guard and she instantly asked if Blaze was comming too. As she didn't recieve an answer and
was hurridly ushered out of the den with her siblings, unsure of what her Mother ment.

As they made the journey out of the pack lands, Mikalya kept stopping and looking back, "But.. Mother.. " she whined, fearful. "Father..will he be.. meeting us there... He is ..coming right?" she asked almost frantically, only to be ushered back to the others and pushed forward to continue. As Wolf met up with them she yelped and hid behind her Mothers back legs, her eyes widening in pure fascination at his size. "Mother.. who is he??" Her ears turning back, she moved out from under her mother and looked back and forth between the two, and bared her teeth, only to yelp and scamper back as he moved.

It seemed she wasn't about to be answered and after getting told to be quiet, she did, though she didn't like it. It was only after they had trekked the terrian to the outskirts of the kumari land that she began to get restless. Her paws ached and she yawned. The pups getting tired and restless. She was glad when they stopped and ate, but it never lasted for long before the five of them began to walk again.

Where in the world where they going.. why did they leave home? Where was dad?? I'm hungry..I'm tired, the pups whined through out. As
night fell, they where yawning frequently. Mikayla had stopped her ranting and tried to usher her brother and sister to keep it together. Sensing urgency
withing the male, Wolf. and then in her Mother, she looked about the surroundings but didn't see anything. As they where ushered into
into a den made by a tree she hunkered down, wearyness and being scared creeping into her bones.

Cayden gave an abrupt yelp as he was more or less tossed into the small enclosure the large tree seemingly wrapped around. Stumbling to land on his paws, he went down head first before moving in rocky hastened steps, soon turning around and opening his maw to bark back defiantly. Not a sound left him following WolfMortum's strong tone that bit back at him, silencing the young male before he even had the chance to protest. Instead he whined in annoyance and turned to look to his mother for some sign of support, finding none as she dealt with his two sisters.

"You're not my father...", Cayden growled under his breath as he moved further into the opening and found himself a half decent place to sit and lay down, tired from the journey, his small chest heaving in and out with panted breaths, his maw opened and his tongue hung out lazily to the left, waiting for his sisters to join him.

Always watching.. Tigers. They never traveled in groups, perhaps he was being mistaken with some other feline but there was none she could recall that traveled together longer than a year or two. She heard the word through Wolf's own mind, telepathy always being one of her stronger abilities, especially around people she had a close bond with. The more time spent with that being, the stronger the connection they shared. She silently ushered Maylin into the make-shift den, the young girl had been surprisingly quiet since they had left the lands while Mikayla questioned a lot and Cayden tried to remain strong. The obsidian female felt a pain when Cayden spoke of Wolf not being his father, there was much he did not know... Eclipse moved beneath the tendrils of roots after Wolf had departed, guarding her pups with her life. "Shhh..I know this is very scary to be so far from home but a time will come when you understand why we left..For now, let's be quiet so we do not draw any unwanted attention.." She curled her body around the triplets, taking to groom each of them and holding them close to her. Should one had tried to venture away for the sake of not getting a bath, their mothers paw was swiftly wrapping around the front of them and pulling them back to her. Her ears swiveled on her crown, hoping to catch wind of some sort of fight going on outside of their temporary lair. Surely Wolf would not have left whatever was following them alive, if she knew him that would have been the case. As she began to look around and take in their surroundings better in the night, she realized that there was the strange scent of sulfur. It made her nose wrinkle in thought that they may have been close to some sort of volcanic activity. The ground beneath her feet, as she shifted her paws, felt sooty and less like smooth earth. Had it been day time she might have noticed its dark coloration and how the tree they had been hiding beneath was still rich with life, still blossoming due to the nutrients in the soil provided by the volcano that they were near.

There was naught much Mikayla could do except allow her mother to bath her and her siblings. But she would let her Mother do it easily. Climbing over the other two she stretched her neck as far as it would go, ears perked up trying to listen to any sounds she might be able to pick up. She was still curious as to why they left, but for the moment she was rather tired and thankful for the rest, her paws throbbing from the trek.

Her fur was matted and bits of grass and other debri got stuck in it. She reached out for the edge of the hole they where in and bit back a yelp. Retracting her paw she looked it over before licking it, her teeth knawing on a splinter to get it out. She could barely make out what was out there, the shadows playing tricks on her mind making her think she was seeing things, but it wasn't too long after that her Mother pulled her back and began to bathe her again. Settling down, she yawned stretching out, her eyes still watching the entrance/exit.

"Mother," she said quietly, [/color]"I think I see something coming."

Maylin had kept quiet the entire time. She did not understand why they were leaving their home. She was tired from the long hike and wanted to go back home to see her Daddy. She got her wish of resting when they were shoved into a hole and Wolf left them. "Mommy, where is he going?" Her voice was soft but squeaky but she did not think she would get an answer. They were told to be quiet and that is what she would do.

As their mother groomed them she tried to get away from the wet mouth, only to get pulled back by her mother. As Mikayla spoke, Maylin jumped up, too fast for her Mother to catch her. "Mom! Maybe it is a dragon! Or another animal! I can go find out!" Her voice squeaked louder with excitement. She wanted to help out with what was going on. She is a big girl and big girls can handle stuff like this. She wanted to be apart of the action. Emerald eyes glanced back at her mother with a 'pretty please' look but she knew that answer would be no. With a huff she layed back down next to her mother, their iridescent fur intertwining together, and closed her eyes.

His maw went face down as Mikayla clambered over top of both he and Maylin to get the better look of what was going on around them, his ears fell back as his vibrant blue eyes searched for any sign of the larger male that'd so easily tossed him to the small enclosure, protected by their mother in front of them. Without thinking, listening to the words of his sisters, his ears perked and his legs kicked into action, paws digging into the dirt as he took off, excited, nervous yet to eager to prove his worth, he wanted to find out what had them all so interested, "I'll get it!!" he barked loudly, bolting forward with seemingly little realization of what he was getting himself into nor what the land was like around them, all he wanted to do was play now, over tired, exhausted to the point where thought was failed in comparison to impulse, he ran as hard as he could. "Speech!"

The 'Shichiseiken' remained sheathed, pressed lightly against his good shoulder while Wolf's hand held the injured one, his blood soaked chest and the top of his Hakama, evidence of the Lions ferocity, now silenced along with the rest of it's pride. It might have been a shock for the pups when he moved to walk back into view, his human form moving, hand reaching out and extending the sheathed weapon to the ground, jabbing it into the dirt directly in front of Cayden's nose, forcing the small pup to a halt and thumbing the pummel so that the blade rose to show it's steel, a reflection of the moon above, shinning against the pups eyes briefly, speaking silently of the razor sharp edge he now showed the pup in gesture, a harmless gesture intent on forcing Cayden back to his mother. "Boo". He said swiftly, body tired though with enough strength to step forward quickly, adding emphasis to the scare tactic, soon smirking as the pup would return to Eclipse, his eyes moving back towards the Alpha, pack or no. "It's clear..." he added coldly, throwing her a look that could not be confused for anything else than pride over the loss of their pursuers, "Some big bloody cats around here, 'Clipse...We need to move, now..." he finished, raising the blade and watching as the form of the weapon began to dissipate with a flurry of black wisps , dissolving into the air as if it'd never been in his possession to begin with. His bones cracked loudly, snapping, flesh tearing and remolding as he forced himself back into his Wolf form, his left-front paw raised off the ground, still wounded though able to move faster on all fours.
